 The second trimester lasts from the fourteenth to the twenty-sixth week and is marked by rapid growth of the fetus. The baby's movement occurs during the second trimester at the fourteenth week. As you enter the second trimester, constipation and heartburn affect your body. During the fifteenth week, the baby will grow hair on its head and body. The body hair sheds before birth generally. Heartburn sets in, so avoid spicy foods. This is also the time during which your doctor can measure the fundus, or fundal height which is the height between your uterus and pelvic bone.
