This is a special week for both you and your baby. At this month’s checkup is usually when you will hear your baby’s heartbeat for the first time. Your baby is about 2.2 inches long (5.4 cm) and weighs 0.5 ounce (14 grams). Fingernails are continuing to grow and the hands are now completely formed.
