Week 16 fetal development

Your baby is now moving around in the amniotic fluid. Week 16 is usually a momentous week for most women. You might begin to feel your baby move this week (this is referred to as Quickening). Most women describe this feeling as butterflies, bubbles, gas. If this is your first pregnancy, however, you should expect to feel your baby move at about 18-20 weeks.
